WILL a Great British street market be just the thing to help attract people back to Bournemouth town centre?
A market will take place in Old Christchurch Road on summer Sundays from later this month.
It’s the lead story in our round-up of the week’s top business news.
The town centre has suffered some big closures in recent times, with Debenhams and Beales closing and a number of smaller units left vacant. The popular cafe Real Eating Company has also shut.
But there has also been cause for optimism, with plans to revive the Bobby’s department store name in the Debenhams and a number of independent businesses setting up.
Listen to the clip below to hear business editor Darren Slade take you through the week’s key developments.
