NEWLY-crowned PDC World Darts Champion John Part is expected to have his place in the 2008 Premier Darts League confirmed tomorrow, the Echo understands.
The Premier League, which visits the Bournemouth International Centre on February 28, already features the PDC order of merit's top six - Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld, James Wade, Terry Jenkins, Peter Manley and Adrian Lewis.
And with Canadian Part expected to accept the first of two wildcards tomorrow, several players are in the frame to claim the eighth, and final, spot in the prestigious league.
The Echo understands world semi-finalists Wayne Mardle and Kevin Painter are contenders, while BDO star Gary Anderson could also be in the frame, should he win the Lakeside world title later this month.
Stoke's Andy Hamilton is an outside bet after reaching the recent Grand Slam of Darts final.
