IT’S been a busy week of business news, with new jobs and investment to be welcomed alongside some more troubling news.
Our round-up of the top business stories leads with the news of a Bournemouth company that is creating 50 jobs and has attracted £15million from a venture a venture capital firm which previously saw the potential of Zoopla and Cazoo.
The business is Kortext, which provides millions of electronic university textbooks, and which employs around 130 people locally, and its news leads this week’s round-up.
We also report calls for the government to do more to help small hospitality businesses, the closure of a local bank, the refurbishment and renaming of a well-known Bournemouth pub and the latest on sub-prime lender Amigo.
