AN AMBULANCE ended up on its side after a crash with a car at a traffic light junction in Poole.
Police and fire crews were called to the scene of the collision on the A35 Commercial Road, Ashley Cross on Friday afternoon.
The incident took place at the junction with Parr Street.
A road closure was put in place by police and BCP Council's highways team were requested due to fluid in the road.
Both the ambulance and the car involved had to be recovered.
A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: "Dorset Police received a report at 2.21pm on Friday, July 9, of a collision involving a car and an ambulance on Commercial Road in Poole.
"It is reported that the ambulance was on its side.
"The road is currently closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
"The local authority has been requested to clear fluid in the road."
The Daily Echo has contacted the ambulance trust for comment.
