Leaving Bournemouth at 7.27pm, the Red Arrows made it to Wembley for 7.48pm, 12 minutes before kick-off.
They then made it back to their base in Scampton at 8.10pm, meaning the pilots missed Luke Shaw’s opening goal.
The display team have performed on a number of occasions at the Bournemouth Air Festival, and will be back in the town this summer for its return.
Performing every day at the festival, you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of the jets between September 2 and 5.
