A MECHANIC made the most of the poor weather by riding his jet ski around the Nuffield Industrial Estate.

Andy Simmons, of MOT Car Repairs took his jet ski for a spin after heavy rain flooded his workshop.

He said: “I do jet skiing and went out last Saturday and had the ski on the back of the truck.

“I threw it on the water after the flooding went through our workshop.

“I went up and down the road, got about 10mph or 20mph, it’s just a bit of fun really.

“I only went on it for a couple of goes, all the boys were out watching.”
