A MUM of 13 said she was really proud and “still suffering” after her tenth daughter got married on Saturday.
Tracy Lewis, from Ringwood, celebrated in Poole over the weekend when daughter Candice, 25, got married to Paul Ellis.
She said: “It’s been a crazy weekend as you can imagine. We’re all still suffering now.
“It’s been a weekend of celebrations, with England getting to the final as well it’s just a shame we didn’t get another goal.
“For the wedding we had the top room of the Poole Guildhall, we were only allowed 30 guests which was really just our family.
“It was a crazy day, we were all up at 5am getting ready. Candice had to cancel her wedding four times, it was a relief the day finally came.”
Candice is just the third of Tracy’s children to get married, after Chantelle and Charles.
And Tracy said her house was always loud growing up, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
“My life is still full on even though they have grown up, they still need mum and dad every day.
“I have been so blessed, I will never be rich but I am rich with kids.
“Candice and Paul got engaged in April 2017. It is true love, I saw that at the wedding.
“She is the tenth baby, she got married on the 10th, she had The Beautiful South playing for her dad, it was so emotional.”
Five of Candice’s sisters were bridesmaids at the wedding, with Georgie the maid of honour.
“It was such a beautiful day,” Tracy continued. “The memories will live on with everyone.
“To have such a large family and have them all there on the same day, I am still buzzing from it, I am such a proud mum.”
Tracy and Pete have 13 children, 12 girls and one boy. The oldest, Carly, is 38 while the youngest, Porsha, is 18. They also have 22 grandchildren.
Their children in age order are; Carly, 38, Tracy, 36, Samantha, 35 Charles, 34, Lyndsay, 33, Danielle, 31, Chantelle, 29, Charlotte 28, Georgia, 27 Candice, 25 Shannon, 22, Shaznay, 20 and Porsha, 18.
Candice and Paul now have plans to go to Dublin on their honeymoon when restrictions are lifted.
The Lewis family have appeared on a number of TV shows, including 15 Kids and Counting on Channel 4.
Tracy added: “We give our whole life up for our kids and don’t get a minute to ourselves, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.”
