THE police helicopter was called out to Poole to assist with searches for a missing woman.
Residents reported seeing officers in residential areas of Parkstone on Monday evening.
Following searches for around two hours, police located the missing woman.
A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: "We received a report at around 6.30pm on Monday, July 12, and the woman was located at around 8.45pm.
"Officers searched the area, assisted by the NPAS helicopter."
