COASTGUARD teams were called to help two injured people in a “dangerous location” at Hengistbury Head on Saturday.
The incident, at 7.43pm, also involved the helicopter which also called to help the coastguard team recover the casualties.
A spokesperson for Poole Coastguard Rescue Team said: “Poole Coastguard were tasked to assist Southbourne Coastguard with an incident at Hengistbury Head, where two people were injured.
“With the casualties in a dangerous location, Mudeford Lifeboat was tasked, along with the Coastguard rescue helicopter and two land ambulances.
“Poole Coastguard were involved with setting up several helicopter landing sites at various locations.
“While Southbourne Coastguard coordinated the casualty recovery and communications between all services.
“Teams stood down around 11pm.”
