ACCESS to a popular Dorset beauty spot has been closed off this afternoon as visitors continue to flock to the area.
The road leading to Durdle Door has been shut off with people urged to avoid the area.
Posting on Twitter, Travel Dorset said: “Access road to Durdle Door will be closed shortly due to car parks at full capacity.
"Please avoid the area.”
Dorset Council said: "If you are asked to turn around, please #BeKind to our staff and #Respect our residents. Reminder that we have active tow-away zones in the area."
Elsewhere in Dorset, police and BCP Council have closed off access to Sandbanks Peninsula due to an influx of visitors.
It is the second day running the road has been shut off.
Thousands of people have flocked to the Dorset coast to make the most of the sunny weather this weekend.
Temperatures are due to reach the high 20s today.
