STAFF shortages could put a number of bin collections at risk across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
Due to a number of staff self-isolating, BCP Council have announced that some refuse collections may be at risk of being missed over the next few days.
The council have said that they are "working hard to ensure all bins are emptied" and any that are missed should be left out as a catch-up collection will take place.
Councillor Mark Anderson, portfolio holder for cleansing and waste said: “Unfortunately a number of our waste collection staff are currently self-isolating but we are working hard to maintain waste collection services across the conurbation.
"We are experiencing some small disruptions to the normal service however, and I’d like to thank our residents for their patience during this time and advise them to keep their bins out if they haven’t been collected and we will catch up at the earliest opportunity.”
