A DRIVER travelling nearly 20mph above the limit was issued with a court ticket in Poole.
Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team were carrying out speed checks on the Dorset Way in Poole on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the team said: “We have been conducting speed checks on the Dorset Way, Poole, which is a 50mph road.
“We stopped one vehicle and issued him with a court ticket for excess speed, travelling at 76mph.
“A majority of vehicles were seen there or there abouts within the limit.
“The range on our device can capture vehicles speed up to 1000m away.”
