WITH summer holidays under way, parents will be looking for ways to fill their kids days - luckily, we officially have one of the best National Trust site on our doorstep.
Corfe Castle has been named as the most 'Instagrammable' National Trust site in Britain, according to a new study by MyJobQuote which analysed the UK’s National Trust locations hashtags on Instagram.
The study ranked the top 20 most pictured according to the platform's users and shows that Corfe Castle is the most popular with more than 72,000 hashtags.
Dorset's iconic castle has been many things throughout its thousand-year history: a military garrison, a Royal palace, and now Instagram’s most hashtagged National Trust spot in the UK. Whist there the family can even take part in the Woodland Clan activity trail, a mixture of sculptures, activities, quizzes and storytelling.
Second place was taken by Dunham Massey in Altrincham, Greater Manchester with 59,931 hashtags and Stourhead in Wiltshire was third with 57,932 hashtags.
