AS WE approach the weekend we can look ahead to some down time, unfortunately it doesn't exactly look like perfect beach weather.
Across the region it is looking potentially damp and wet for the rest of the week with highs of 20C.
Luckily, the Met Office announced earlier this week that we are likely to have another heatwave in the first two weeks of August - so we can look forward to that.

For the rest of today, Wednesday, July 28, the weather will be staying overcast with the sun peeking through at times.
There is a chance of rain in the evening but as the day draws to a close the night should be clear and crisp - you might even be able to see the stars.
A typical day of sunshine and showers, while I’m hoping for more sun than yesterday I suspect we’ll also pick up more showers, especially this afternoon. Feeling relatively cool on the westerly breeze & too temps just 19-20C @DorsetSnow @portlandukwx @Bournemouthecho
