WESTBOURNE’s branch of HSBC has reopened its doors once again after closing for a refurbishment.
The branch, located on Poole Road, has been converted into a digital service branch with state of the art self-service machines as well as being redecorated.
Rachel Hill, HSBC’S UK’s Local Director for Bournemouth and West Dorset hopes the bank modernises banking for customers in the area.

She said: “The changes that we are making to our Westbourne branch will mean customers have a much more modern branch.”
She added that she is “delighted” the bank is “there for customers and the local community”.
With the facelift comes better-designed areas for customer service, a full suite of self-serve machines and a place for customer seminars.
Ms. Hill also said: “We are very conscious that there will be some customers who are less confident or comfortable using self-service options, and we would like to assure them that we will not be leaving any customers high and dry.
“Our branch staff will be on hand to help in the banking hall rather than behind a screen, to explain and also to educate customers on how to complete their transaction.”
