AS Cherries celebrate 20 years since their move to a new stadium, the Echo looks back at the transition.
A footballing era which lasted more than 90 years came to an end when AFC Bournemouth played its last match at the old Dean Court in 2001.
The squad didn't have to move too far though, the pitch was essentially turned 90 degrees and new facilities were built around it.
But it wasn't a redevelopment – it was an entire rebuild.
The old field of dreams was razed to the ground before the Fitness First Stadium took its place.
