A CANNABIS farm found in Bournemouth containing around 60 fully grown plants was a “severe fire risk”.
A member of the public reported a property growing cannabis in Holdenhurst Road.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said they were called to a property in Holdenhurst Road after receiving intelligence from a member of the public.
No arrests have currently been made and around 60 fully grown plants were found.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Police said: “What was most concerning was that whilst at the address we were told by the electricity board that due to the set up and the fact that there had already been some melting near one of the plugs it was a severe fire risk.
“Due to the property being a flat this could have had devastating consequences for other people living nearby.”
