His body was found on Friday, July 30, at Lake Pier.
A spokesperson for the Coroner’s Service said: “I would confirm that a formal ID has been made now in respect of Mr Baker-Osborne.
“We are awaiting post mortem results and in the meantime, we have opened an investigation.
“We expect to get the results in about 4 weeks time, approximately.”
The family of the 18-year-old described him as a “selfless hero” after he helped save ten others from the water at Rockley Park.
Paying tribute, they said: “Callum Baker-Osborne, beloved son of Alan Baker and Ann Osborne. Devoted brother to seven brothers and sisters and loving uncle to twenty-one nieces and nephews. Callum was the life and soul of the family, forever making us smile.
"Our selfless hero who always put everyone’s welfare above his own. Now at peace with his Dad and baby. Forever missed and always in our hearts.”
A GoFundMe page was set up to help Callum's family which can be viewed here.
