A DRIVER had to get the train back to London after police seized his £90,000 car following anti-social driving.
Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team spotted the Nissan GT-R Prestige in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, where it was reportedly revving its engine excessively for 10 to 15 seconds making the vehicle "pop".
A spokesperson for the team said this was being done "for no reason while leaving the petrol, causing alarm and distress".
They added: "The Nissan GT-R Prestige (worth £90k+) below was seen on Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth revving it’s engine for 10-15 seconds excessively making the vehicle “pop” - for no reason while leaving the petrol, causing alarm and distress to those in the area.
"When we caught up with the vehicle near to Ashley Road, Boscombe at the traffic lights, the vehicle revved its engine excessively again, the passenger was hanging out the window recording. They had a bit of a shock when the blue lights came on.
"When stopped the driver from London was very apologetic, when we checked him out he had received a section 59 warning notice in March this year in London for driving anti-socially, he knew what was coming.
"The vehicle was seized and the driver received a ticket for three points and £100 – he pleaded with us as he needed to get back to London, we did offer to drop him at the train station but he declined."
