NO parking will be permitted on a Bournemouth road while BCP carries out work which will last until February 2023.
BCP Council confirmed in a public notice that no parking, waiting, loading or unloading would be permitted on Madeira Road.
The notice said: “The northern side of Madeira Road, no parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time, from the eastern end of the Police Parking Bay, for a distance of approximately 12 metres in a westerly direction, adjacent to property numbers seven and nine.
“No parking, no waiting at any time from the entrance to the multi-storey car park, for a distance of approximately of 12 metres in a westerly direction.”
The council said development works were being carried out, including the relocation of a police parking bay, starting on August 23 and lasting until February 22, 2023.
It added: “These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
“Restrictions may be in effect under this order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the secretary of state.”
