MORE than 350 Covid cases have been recorded across Dorset in the past day.
Latest data on the government website shows a total of 191 positive results have been returned across the BCP Council area.
The number of cases recorded across the conurbation since the start of the pandemic stands at 39,478.
Elsewhere, 167 cases have been confirmed in the wider Dorset area bringing the total number of cases overall to 19,923.
In the past seven days, 1,592 cases have been seen across the BCP Council area giving a rate of 401 per 100,000 people.
During the same period, 1,214 cases have been recorded across the Dorset Council area, at a rate of 319.6.
In the New Forest, there have been 69 new cases with 9,949 overall during the pandemic.
There have been 437 cases in the last seven days with a rate of 243.3.
