THE British Beach Polo Championships, known as Sandpolo, will make a comeback next month.
Postponed earlier in the year due to the coronavirus pandemic, Sandpolo will now go ahead on September 17 and September 18 on Sandbanks beach.
The director of Sandpolo, Johnny Wheeler, said: "We are confident that tighter restrictions will not be reintroduced and that the 3,500 people on each day will be safe at our outdoor event on Sandbanks beach.
"We are extremely grateful for the messages of support and the loyalty of our attendees who have carried their tickets over from July."

This year’s event will see a combination of horse polo played on the Blue Flag beach, live entertainment and evening parties.
After the polo on Friday there will be the Boogie on the Beach event with 70s soul, disco and funk performances.
Saturday's closing party is titled Gold Eighties and will include the George Michael tribute, Rob Lamberti.
There are a range of bars and food venues available for guests across the two-day event.
Tickets are still available.
