A FOREST Lodge holiday, £1,000 of John Lewis vouchers and a £25,000 jackpot – a trio of reasons to enter the BH Coastal Lottery.
Since its launch, the BH Coastal Lottery has raised more than £130,000 for local causes. These range from groups to support disability, mental health, children and young people, education, sports groups, environment and animal welfare.
Tickets for the lottery cost £1 a week and each ticket has a one in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000.
Anyone buying a ticket before August 28 could be in with a shout of winning a Forest Lodge staycation holiday, and anyone entering between September 1 and October 30 will have a chance of winning £1,000 of John Lewis vouchers.
50 per cent of ticket costs are paid directly to a good cause of your choice, with an additional 10 per cent going to other community causes.
Councillor Jane Kelly, lead member for engagement at BCP Council, said: “We are very encouraged by the success of the BH Coastal Lottery and thank our residents for their support. Our residents have won cash prizes totalling £55,200.
“We would also encourage local good causes to register and start benefitting. It costs nothing to register and we found that during the recent lockdowns, BH Coastal lottery local causes continued to fundraise and through its Community Fund small grants, enabled groups to provide many essential services to those in most need.”
