TRIBUTES have been paid to long-serving enforcement officer at Swanage Town Council, Clive Dragon.
Clive had been employed for 16 and died suddenly on Friday, August 13, the council confirmed.
Town clerk, Martin Ayres, said: “Clive was a big part of a small team at the town council. He was always there to support his colleagues and his sudden passing has been a terrible shock for everyone.
“Although people automatically think of an enforcement officer issuing parking fines, Clive was never happier than when helping out a visitor or providing someone with reassurance.”
Town Mayor, councillor Avril Harris, added: “Clive was a hard-working and dedicated member of staff, and he will be very greatly missed by us all. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his wife, Julie, and their two sons.”
