REPORTS of crime across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole steadied in June with figures staying much the same as May.
According to the latest figures from police.uk there were a total of 4,064 crimes reported across the conurbation to Dorset Police - up slightly from 4,042 in May.
The highest rate of crime within the entire conurbation falls under anti-social behaviour for which there were 1,279 incidents reported to the police.

The second most reported crime was violence and sexual offences with 1,229 - up from 1,167 in May and 1,071 in April.
Across the conurbation the third highest crime was criminal damage and arson which received 321 reports.
Vehicle crime (232), other theft (240) and public order (242) offences all received similar rates of reports throughout June in the BCP council area.
The lowest reported crimes were theft from a person (14), robbery (30) and other crime (10).

Bournemouth saw a total of 2,442 reports, Christchurch received 378 and Poole had 1,244 crimes reported in June 2021.
