A DRIVER was taken to hospital with suspected head and arm injuries after crashing into a BT server box in Christchurch.
Police were called at 10.50pm on Monday, August 30, to reports of a single vehicle collision on Bure Lane involving a silver Volkswagen Polo.
A BT box was damaged in the incident and the fire service attended to make it safe.
In a post on social media, the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue service said: “A car had gone into a BT server box which was sparking. The crew attended to ensure it was safe, inspected the roadside, and then handed the incident over to BT.”
The driver of the car was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment to a possible fractured arm and head injury. His condition is not described as serious.
Police said no arrests have been made.
