SEARCHES are underway for a “very upset” man who failed to return to a Bournemouth address on Tuesday morning.
Neil Hurren, aged 79, was last seen at an address in Runnymede Avenue at 10.20am on Tuesday, August 31. He was due back at 11.30am but failed to return.
He is described as white, five feet eight inches tall, of slim build and has silver hair worn in a ponytail and a silver beard.
He was possibly wearing a black cap, green jacket, green trousers and wellington boots.
Chief inspector Stuart Pitman, of Dorset Police, said: “Neil is vulnerable and we understand he has been very upset recently.
“We are very concerned for him and officers are carrying out searches in the area in a bid to locate him.
“I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.
“Finally, I would like to make a direct appeal to Neil if you see this – please contact us or your family and let us know where you are as we just want to make sure that you are safe.”
