A MAN was found unresponsive by his parents after he had gone home to prepare for a barbecue.
Andrew Paul Littlewood, 32, died at his home in Edwina Drive in Poole on August 22 this year.
The inquest into his death was opened at Bournemouth Town Hall on Tuesday.
The court heard how Mr Littlewood was a self-employed groundsman and on the morning of his death met his mother and sister before returning home to prepare for a barbecue.
His mother and father then noticed the garage door open at his house and found Mr Littlewood unresponsive.
Police were called and found no suspicious circumstances of third-party involvement.
Senior coroner for Dorset, Rachael Griffin, adjourned the inquest for a pre-inquest review in December and requested statements from Mr Littlewood’s family, his GP, the mental health team and police.
