THE Belgian Air Force A109 Display Team - 'Razzle Blades' won’t be attending the Bournemouth Air Festival.
The display team had been due to take to the skies twice a day from Thursday to Saturday and once on Sunday.
Bournemouth Air Festival Director, Jon Weaver said: “It is unfortunate that due to circumstances beyond our control the Belgium Razzle Blades won’t be joining us this year at the Air Festival.
We were really looking forward to seeing them display. However, despite this we still have an incredible line up, which includes the Red Arrows, Typhoon and BBMF displaying all four days. We really hope everyone enjoys the free land, air, sea and STEM entertainment we have planned.”
“The confirmation that the Belgium Razzle Blades won’t be joining us this year was due to unforeseen cost, covid and contract issues. We were really looking forward to seeing them display but hope people enjoy the great four days of free entertainment we have managed to achieve for the 2021 Air Festival.”
In a statement on their Facebook page, the Belgian Air Force A109 Display Team said: “With big regrets, we have to announce that our participation to the Bournemouth Air Festival 2021 has been CANCELLED last minute due to what seems to be some kind of Administrative warfare.”
