A HOLIDAY park in the New Forest has announced it will be holding a forest-themed festival with food, drink and music this month.
Hoburne Bashley holiday park in Sway will host its first-ever Woodland Festival on Saturday, September 25, from 10am to 5pm.
The one-day event will also be available to members of the public.
Guests can enjoy locally produced food and drink, ranging from meat, eggs, bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, gin, and cider, while getting to meet the people behind the products.
There will also be live music throughout the day and a series of guest speakers from the New Forest.
The family-friendly festival is also the perfect opportunity to get hands-on with nature with a series of paid-for workshops taking place in the ancient woodlands, including bug hunts, bushcraft, fire lighting, and arts and crafts.
Hoburne Bashley manager Dave Absalom, said: “We have worked incredibly hard over the last 12 months to bring the park’s woodlands back to life and there is no better way to celebrate than with our very first Woodland Festival.
“The festival will have something for everyone, and not only will it be the perfect family day out but a celebration of our wonderful location and everything the New Forest has to offer.”
