FLYING at the Bournemouth Air Festival has been suspended for the rest of the day.
It comes after a wingwalkers plane had to ditch in the water at Poole Harbour following their display on day three of the festival.
The crash happened at around 3.50pm on Saturday afternoon.
In an updated statement issued at 5.10pm, a Bournemouth Air Festival spokesperson said: “Flying has been suspended for this evening. It is our intention to have a display programme reinstated for tomorrow.”
“The festival site remains open and all ground-based activities continue with the Birds of Prey, Beat Retreat, trading, Sing-a-long Grease and the fireworks.”
