TWO dolphins delighted numerous beachgoers in Boscombe yesterday with several synchronised leaps to the surface.
Boscombe resident Mark Jones filmed the pleasant encounter at 2pm on Monday after being alerted by fins in the water.
He told the Daily Echo: “I was sat on the beach by the shoreline and my partner was in the sea when I saw a fin, so I quickly sat up. Thankfully, I then realised that they were dolphins before I made a complete fool of myself.
“We saw them jumping so I took my phone out. It was pretty cool to see, they were to the right of Boscombe Pier and around 100 yards out. As I say on the video, they are amazing.”
This comes a few weeks after dolphins thrilled kayakers and paddleboarders with full body leaps out of the water in Swanage Bay.
