COASTGUARD crews were called to recover a jet skier who had suffered a foot injury off Sandbanks.
Poole Coastguard Rescue Team were called to help the jet skier who had self-recovered after suffering the injury.
A spokesperson said: “Tasked by Joint Rescue Coordination Centre to assist RNLI Lifeguards with a casualty that had an injury to a foot sustained from his jet ski, the casualty had self-recovered onto the beach.
“After a discussion with the casualty and Joint Rescue Coordination Centre reference the ETA of a SWASNFT ambulance, we decided to carry the casualty to their own personal vehicle and then with clearance escorted them to the nearest A&E.
“Once the casualty was in the care of NHS Poole Hospital, team stood down and returned to station.”
