CRIME reports in the BCP council area have continued to remain steady, according to latest figures.
The number of crimes reported across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole in July reached 4,097 - up by just 33 reports from the previous month.
The highest rate of crime within the entire conurbation falls under anti-social behaviour for which there were 1,298 incidents reported to the police.

The second most reported crime was violence and sexual offences with 1,231 - two reports up from 1,229 in June and 1,167 in May.
Across the conurbation the third highest crime was criminal damage and arson which received 349 reports.
Vehicle crime (239), other theft (249) and public order (236) offences all received similar rates of reports throughout July in the BCP council area.
The lowest reported crimes were theft from a person (25), robbery (34) and other crime (14).

Bournemouth saw a total of 2,461 reports, Christchurch received 336 and Poole had 1,300 crimes reported in June 2021.
