SEVERAL drivers were caught breaking a number of traffic offences last night in Ferndown.

The Ferndown Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) issued eight Traffic Offence Reports on Thursday evening for offences which included driving using excessive speed, careless driving and driving without insurance.

An East Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Last night Ferndown NPT co-ordinated an operation to target ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour) driving following reports of this in Ferndown and the surrounding areas.

“Several groups were spoken to and words of advice given about the appropriate manner of driving.”
