A POLICE car was involved in a crash with another car and a telephone pole in Shaftesbury today.
Police say that the crash, at Cann Common junction, happened whilst they were responding to an immediate priority incident and are appealing for witnesses.
No one has been reported to have been seriously injured in the crash and the road has now reopened.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "An officer responding to an immediate priority incident in Shaftesbury has collided with a car and a telegraph pole at the Cann Common junction. Fortunately no one has been seriously injured.
"Officers from Dorset Police Road Traffic Unit are investigating the collision with assistance from witnesses at the scene. If anyone witnessed the collision please contact Dorset Police via 101 email or the force website. The road is now clear."
