THE coastguard was called to assist two jet skis not making way through the tide at Anvil point.
Several 999 calls requested the assistance of the Swanage lifeboat, which launched just before 5.00 on September 12.
Following the launch, it was found that the jet skis had progressed from Anvil Point towards Peveril Ledge.
Upon arrival, crews found three jet skis with one being towed, unoccupied.
Swanage lifeboat said: “Having broken through the strong ebb tides at Anvil point and Peveril Ledge, the jet skis were making progress towards Poole, their intended destination.”
Following a welfare check the Swanage lifeboat returned to the station.
