FIRE crews rushed to the scene of a blaze in a lift shaft in Bournemouth on the weekend.
Three crews attended the fire in Oxford Road at 4.04pm on Saturday.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Three crews from Springbourne, Westbourne and Redhill Park attended a fire located in a lift shaft within a residential property in Oxford Road.
“The fire was out on arrival. Crews carried out an inspection using a thermal imaging camera.”
