A SUPERMARKET in Poole is closing its doors for good this weekend.
The Iceland store, based in Poole High Street, announced earlier this month that it will stop trading in the town.
A company spokesperson confirmed to the Daily Echo that the store would be closing permanently on September 18 but was unable to comment further at the current time.
This comes just weeks after the closure of the Iceland in St Thomas Street in Weymouth.

Iceland shoppers in a community group have given their thanks and praise to staff at the Poole store.
One post said: “I'd just like to give out a massive shout out and thank you to Chris and all of the staff at Iceland in Poole High Street as they prepare to pull the shutters down for the final time.
“The store has continued to provide a vital service to the people of Poole and the surrounding areas over the course of many years with their home deliveries.
“This is a service that will be sorely missed by their many older customers, especially people who don't have access to a car and/or the internet.
“I for one will be very sad to see the store close, and wish all the staff all the very best for the future.”
The post gained more than 100 likes and received more than 40 comments with people sharing anecdotes and thanking the store.
From September 18 the nearest Iceland branch will be in Parkstone, with stores also in Canford Heath, Bournemouth, Boscombe and Winton.
