THE murder of Carole Packman, killed by her husband Russell Causley after she went missing in 1985, is to feature on a TV documentary.
Quest Red will document the murder in an episode of The Killer in My Family where the family will discuss the impact of the crimes and their campaign to find the body of Mrs Packman.
Causley was given a life sentence for murdering Mrs Packman following her disappearance in Bournemouth.
Her body has never been located and Causley, who was found guilty twice after the initial conviction was quashed, has changed his account of the events in 1985 on several occasions.
The family will also discuss Helen’s Law, named after Helen McCourt, murdered by Ian Simms in 1988.
The law puts an obligation on the parole board to factor in an offender’s non-disclosure of certain information when making a decision about their release, in this case, the whereabouts of Mrs Packman’s body.
The show will feature on Quest Red on Thursday, September 23 at 10pm.
