CHRIS Holder has won the Australian Championship title after winning the final round at Sydney today.
The Pirates star beat former Wimborne Road favourite Troy Batchelor from the back in the climax to the fifth round to take the overall title with a maximum 100 points.
Cameron Woodward was third in Sydney with Jason Doyle fourth in the final race at the Showground.
Batchelor finished second overall on 86 points followed by Screen (78), Woodward (78), Fredrik Lindgren (77) and Doyle (72).
Holder, Batchelor and Woodward claimed the three Australian Grand Prix qualifying round slots, with Doyle narrowly missing out.
