A LYMINGTON hair colour and care company has completed a beach clean in Bournemouth to help “heal the planet”.
L'ANZA Healing Haircare partnered with Salon Sustainability to sponsor a clean on Bournemouth beach in an event described as a “fantastic success”.
A spokesperson said: “The team scoured the beach to pick up rubbish to stop it from ending up in the ocean and with full bags by the end of it, what a success it was.
“Our next generation is looking evermore bleak so it is vital that we all do what we can to protect our planet in our everyday lives.
“L’ANZA, along with Salon Sustainability, help hairdressers work for a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future for the next generation.”
Salon Sustainability says it gives hairdressers the ability to recycle up to 95 per cent of salon waste. This included aluminium foils, disposable towels, colour tubes, chemicals, hair, plastic, and paper.
They also run a PPE recovery programme.
