A MAN driving while more than double the legal drink drive limit has been fined by the courts.
Samuel Robert Taylor, of the Ministry of Defence Royal School, Nelson Road, Blandford Camp, was charged with driving a BMW 1 Series on the A31 in Corfe Mullen with 78 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath in his system on August 28.
He appeared in the dock at Poole Magistrates’ Court on September 16 where he pleaded guilty.
Magistrates fined Taylor, 22, £331 and ordered his to pay £34 and costs of £84.
He was also disqualified from driving for 20 months.
