LET’S get ready to rumble. An action-packed two hours of professional wrestling is coming to lay the smackdown in Poole next month.
The Junction Sports and Leisure Centre in Broadstone will host joint promoters Kapow Wrestling and SWF UK’s ‘Back to Business’ tour on Saturday October 2.
The Station Approach venue will welcome the promotions for the very first time, in a show described as “family friendly”.
The two-hour spectacular features tag team and solo men’s and women’s matches.
Among the wrestlers booked to appear is Dorset-based star Connie Steel. The outspoken Weymouth campaigner is the daughter of the legendary Klondyke Kate – who was watched weekly by more than five million people on ITV’s World of Sport in the 1980s, alongside the likes of Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks.
Other top stars performing on the night include 25-year British wrestling veteran Kris Kay, high flyer Darcy Stone, Karl Atlas, Lookachu and ‘The Prince of Mumbai’ Rishi Ghosh – who recently appeared in the Stephen Merchant and Dwayne Johnson produced film Fighting With My Family.
All the action will take place at the Junction Sports and Leisure Centre in Broadstone at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased direct from the centre’s reception or at kapowwrestling.co.uk.
