STACEY Dooley is among the latest in a series of new shows to be announced at the Lighthouse.
To celebrate the publication of her new book, the TV presenter will open a conversation about mental health in young people to challenge the stigma and stereotypes around it.
In Conversation with Stacey Dooley will take place on Friday February 11 2022 at 7pm in the Concert Hall.
Other events announced at the venue include the book launch of Army Girls on Sunday November 14 at 3pm, in the theatre.The book tells the story of the final few women who served in WW2 and are still alive to tell their tale with author Tessa Dunlop and WW2 gunner girl Grace Taylor who swapped her servant’s pinafore for battledress and a tin hat.
The Platform 4: Triffids will take place on Saturday March 5 2022 at 8pm, in the Sherling Studio and will take the audience deep into John Wyndham’s classic novel The Day of the Triffids, with a live soundtrack created with instruments including Moog, double bass, theremin, hammered dulcimer and a cactus.
Tickets go on pre-sale to Lighthouse Friends only from Thursday September 23 and on general sale from Friday September 24.
