FAMILIES are being invited to explore a Dorset nature reserve this October half term to enjoy Halloween activities.
The RSPB Arne nature reserve will be open to families in late October to explore “fabulous fungi, like witches’ fingers, tree ears, and elf cups”.
Visitors can collect natural materials to make their own forest fairy or woodland elf, with its very own fairy door. You can also collect a free scavenger bag and a fungi spotter’s sheet.
The event is free of charge and take place at RSPB Arne between October 23 and 31 between 9.30am and 4.00pm.
At the RSPB Arne café visitors can also treat themselves to a seasonal special hazelnut latte or chai latte with cinnamon sprinkles.
Visit events.rspb.org.uk/arne or rspb.org.uk/radipolelake for booking information.
