WAYNE Mardle has been confirmed as the Sky Sports wildcard for this year's PDC Premier Darts League.
The league, which visits the Bournemouth International Centre on February 28, already features 2008 world champion John Part, 13-time title winner Phil Taylor, five-time champ Raymond van Barneveld and last year's league runner-up Terry Jenkins.
But Mardle, a losing semi-finalist at this year's world championships and one of the most popular players on the PDC circuit, is likely to be the big crowd-puller alongside World Matchplay champion James Wade, fellow youngster Adrian Lewis of Stoke-on-Trent and Carlisle's former world finalist Peter Manley.
