AS WE go full steam ahead into autumn, a number of seasonal and exciting events are taking place across the region.
So if you’re stuck for something to do across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole the Daily Echo has got you covered with a list of just some of the activities taking place this weekend.
Royal British Legion Parade
The Royal British Legion Dorset will commemorate its centenary with a county parade in Bournemouth on Saturday 16th October.
The parade, featuring two bands and the members and standards from RBL branches across the county.

It will also include representatives of all the Armed Services, Cadet Corps and Dorset youth organisations, ex-Services associations and the civilian services.
The parade will leave Pier Approach at 1.30pm and march via the Lower and Central Gardens to the War Memorial, where wreaths will be laid before walking to the commemoration service at St. Peter’s Church starting at 2.45pm, during which a new Dorset County Standard will be dedicated.
Opera at The Lighthouse
The English Touring Opera is performing at The Lighthouse in Poole on Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16.
Handel’s opera Amadigi is based on a chivalric romance about three young people imprisoned by a sorceress, Handel’s version is brimming with youthful vigour, humour and tears.
The cast is led by soprano Francesca Chiejina, direct from the Royal Opera House.
Cabaret at Aruba
The Aruba 54 Cabaret Show transports visitors back to the infamous Studio54 in New York City on Friday night, October 15.
Aruba 54 will return on Friday October 1 and run again on October 15 and 29.
With disco balls and lighting effects illuminating the venue, this experience brings a taste of the heyday of NYC 1970's nightlife to the South Coast.
Andy Price, owner of Aruba, said: “We launched our all-new events line up to reimagine what our venue could offer while clubs weren’t allowed to operate.
"We saw a gap in the market for a glitzy, glamorous and entertaining night out in Bournemouth and so created two shows, Broadway on the Beach and Aruba 54."
Robin Hood Cabaret
Hotel Celebrity promises a night of laughter with Rubyz Cabaret in their performance of Robin Hood on Saturday, October 16.
The show does contain adult language and sexual references and guests are advised not to book if they are easily offended.
A number of show packages are available and vary in price.
A celebration of Luther Vandross at the Regent Centre
On Friday night the Regent Centre will be showing the world's premier show Luther: A Luther Vandross Celebration.
A celebration of 'The Velvet Voice' the show features hits from his amazing career, culminating over 40 million album sales and eight Grammy awards including many of the greatest dance anthems and love songs ever written, fronted by international Luther Vandross tribute Harry Cambridge and his 10 piece band.
