POLICE have released an image of a man they would like to speak to following a fatal swan attack in Bournemouth.
The swan was reportedly attacked by a dog in Stour Valley Nature Reserve and subsequently died.
Dorset Police received a report that at around 3pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 a dog had attacked a swan at the nature reserve.
It was further reported that a local wildlife charity had assisted with treating the bird, and the RSPCA had been notified.
It was later confirmed that the bird could not be saved.

Wildlife Crime Officer Joel Brooks said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and we are issuing an image of a man we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.
“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
