THE Halloween weekend is finally here and that means it's finally time for ghouling around and getting a little bit spooky.

From halloween roller skating to witchy makeovers, there really is something for everyone to enjoy this weekend in Dorset.

Take a look at a few of the events taking place this weekend:

Survival Zone: The Sanctuary in Wareham

Bournemouth Echo:

The terrifying tour of  Survival Zone ‘The Sanctuary’ is run by special effects company The TwinsFX who specialise in immersive and realistic visuals for TV and theatre.

Previously hosting the alien takeover at Nothe Forte the company have put on an extra-scary experience for Halloween this year featuring plenty of dead bodies, zombies and gore.

The attraction involves live actors designed to scare groups as they tour through the unsightly sanctuary, secured by barbed wire fencing.

The experience is not for the faint-hearted and some people don’t even make it inside without being too scared.

The Sanctuary scare by The TwinsFX is running until Sunday, October 31.
